[slim] ipeng stuff
I finally realized (duh) that iPeng relies on an internet connection. Oh well. I also speeded up iPeng by adding an entry to my routers QoS (Quality of service), the iTouch address, and gave it a higher priority. [slim] Readynas and my two Squeeze device?
I have a Duet and a Radio. I have ordered a Netgear Readynas Duo 500gb to use as a server instead of my PC. It is supposed to run Squeezeserver. But will it? Can I expect any problems? Any suggestions would be appreciated. My browsing makes use of the Readynas a bit scary... I already have tried Squeezecenter on the Synology DS108J. How to get Softsqueeze running? When the application starts, the window says connection failed. I have put in IP of server, name of computer, etc. I reinstalled Java. [slim] Need NAS for Duet and Radio
I want to put in a server on my network that is not a pc or just file server. Something that will run Squeezebox Server. I know it has been talked about before but I cannot find the specific information I need. Brand names, models, would be nice. Instructions and what is needed would be helpful. I don't want to break the bank. Shevaplug looks nice, but I can't find procedure for installation and setup, with Squeezeserver. Thanks! I still looking at the Shevaplug. Looks like a great toy! I found the Squeezecenter package for my DS108j and installed it. It is running now, I think it is indexing? I installed the Live365 app. But when I select channels, it shows empty or something like that, on all channels. I just obtained a Squeezebox Boom. It can play Classical.com service. I love classical music but don't know anything about classical.com. Can anyone give me info on classical.com?
