Re: [slim] iPeng Application 1.0 now on the App Store

Say every 5mins or 2mins or whatever that playback would stop and you could just restart it. Kinda like a nag screen or something? That's a good idea. Give us full functionality but every 5 minutes clear the playlist and quit the app, or something like that. Without the ability to evaluate the app's responsiveness with a full library, the demo isn't that useful, unfortunately. Instead, limit things like playback time, playlist size, saving playlists, and other things that aren't possible performance issues. Re: [slim] iPeng Application 1.0 now on the App Store
I, at least, would appreciate a demo. I am reluctant to spend the money on the app without trying it. You know, everyone's setup is different, and things that should work don't always. If I can verify that the app is nice and responsive with my size of collection and LAN setup I'd probably buy it. -- horseflesh horseflesh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19608 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55514 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.2 Default skin has no track skip buttons?
The buttons do not do anything, with a click or click-hold, in the Default skin or Fishbone. The Previous/Next track skip buttons work as expected, but the Default skin does not have them. -- horseflesh horseflesh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19608 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53318 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.2 Default skin has no track skip buttons?
OK, so they are track skip controls, good... but they still don't work! I am using Winamp at the moment but I have also tried Windows Media Player. I haven't tested it at home with my Roku M1000 yet. Anyway, in the Default skin, the buttons do not do anything *at all.* The web display is unchanged. It's like this in FF 3.03 and the latest IE7. If that is a consequence of using a streaming mp3 client instead of a real hardware client, that's just life and I will use another skin, but I would like to file a bug. :) -- horseflesh horseflesh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19608 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53318 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] 7.2 Default skin has no track skip buttons?
I see and buttons, but no controls for the previous/next track as seen in Fishbone. Using Winamp as a client, the buttons don't seem to do anything at all. Is there a way to add track skip to the default skin? I know I can click in the playlist, but that isn't always convenient.
