[slim] Get OS message on start since version 7.2 (I think) (Mac OS X)
I get the OS message SqqueezeCenter is an application which was downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it? Normally you get this one time when you download something. Once you open it once the OS never presents this messsage again, but it comes up every time with SqueezeCenter. Has anyone else seen this? well I moved the prefpane from /Library/... to /~/Library/... [slim] iTunes Library.xml vs. iTunes Music Library.xml
Hi, it appears that slimserver is looking for iTunes Music library.xml but iTunes (since I don't know when) uses iTunes Library.xml. A link does not work to solve this. I tried searching the forums to see if this issue has been brought up, but the search appears to be broken. I have copied my iTunes Library.xml to a file called iTunes Music Library.xml and requested slim server to scan, and it picked up the new music. Obviously I don't want to have to copy the file every time. I am reading what you guys are writing, but this is what I am experiencing. [slim] All of a sudden - my Squeezebox will not connect to my wireless network.
Hi all, all of a sudden the squeeze box refuses to connect to my network. Nothing has changed - I was crusing around listening to some shoutcast streams and it locked up. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and now it will not connect at ALL. It does show a signal strength, and everything seems normal. My wifes laptop connects to the same network just fine, and so does my PSP. No love for the squeezbox however. I've checked my WAP, and Router, and checked the network settings on the squeezebox. What else can I do with the squeezebox to troubleshoot this?
