[slim] File Type Settings

Need a bit of help on the correct settings to use in the file types
settings, if this seems rather basic, my apologies:

The music files I play (from HDD) are FLAC's and MP3's, I also on
occasions stream different radio stations on my Touch...

From the screenshots below, what should the different file types be set
to for proper convention and best audio quality:

Thanks for your reply, using wired, so might just see if FLAC as PCM
makes any difference in sound quality...

[slim] TOSLINK Or Coaxial Cable - SqueezeBox Classic (3) To DACMagic

I was wondering if there was any difference (in quality) between using a
coaxial or toslink connection from a SquzzeBox Classic (3) to a
DACMagic; and if one is better than the other, could someone please
recommend a decent make of cable to use.

[slim] How Do I Get Reciva via SqueezeBox?

Hi,

I would like to be able to get 'Reciva' (https://www.reciva.com/) via
my SqueezeBox, I have been reading around the forum, and it appears it
can be got through the AlienBBC plugin, but cannot work out exactly
what to do within the AlienBBC plugin to get it.

Would be most obliged if someone could point me in the right direction
as how to achieve this.

Thanks for putting me straight on this.my uptake of what I read was
wrong then!

As regards reason for using Reciva on SqueezeBox.really just the
possibility of some more choice, although it may just be the case of
the offerings on Receiva just giving what I've already got with
AlienBBC etc plugins

Do pardon my inquiry if it sounds a bit on the stupid side!

I already have AlienBBC installed, with mplayer etc (used the install
pack for SqueezeCenter 7.0), I downloaded the AACplusWin.zip file,
which contains ACCplusWin folder containing a ACCplusWin file of
3.04KB, I have put the folder ACCplusWin (containing the ACCplusWin
file) into C:\Program Files (x86)\SqueezeCenter\Server\Plugins, however
what I don't understand is how I get the Plugin.pm and a Bin directory
(Step 2 of instructions) into .\Server\Plugins\ACCplusWin folder?

I am using Vista Business 64 bit.

How do I accomplish this, so I can get accPlus streams to work?
