Can somebody figure out why The Eagle Classic Rock doesn't work anymore?? I agree... this feature would be great. I would like to re-arrange the items in a different order on SC web UI, and also on my controller. Is there a way to do this? i constantly had rhapsody problems with my duet system. Slacker, pandora, sirius, internet radio, my library works everytime, but rhapsody was always a hit and miss... i gave up and got rid of the service. [slim] SuperDateTime problems
Please help SuperDateTime plugin works great for College Football and Pro Baseball scores, but for the life of me i can't get it to give me anything on NFL. I've checked settings and put NFL to 'all', with no luck, then i tried to select only a few different teams, and no luck either. Am i missing something? One other problem is when i run softsqueeze, SDT no longer shows up on softsqueeze display, even though i set it as my screensaver on 'now playing', and 'when stopped'. When the screensaver activates, the display just goes blank. If i try any other screensaver, everything works fine. This problem began after i updated SDT to 6.5.2 ?? I can handle softsqueeze not working right, but somebody please help me get NFL scores going on my controller. I might add that everything with the plugin works fine and i get College football, pro baseball and all the weather info on my controller just as i should, but nothing on NFL. My setup is controller/ receiver, windows xp, SC 7.1 and occasional use of Softsqueeze. I'm having all kinds of trouble with softsqeeze suddenly. What happened? I've been running SC 7.1 with no problems. Now if i try and start SoftSqueeze, SC comes and goes with music, and SoftSqueeze starts, but won't play music. Very frustrating. i'm still trying to figure this out... Now i finally got everything working, with softsqueeze on the monitor, and superdate with some PGA scores running also. Then the music stops and i notice the scores froze also. Long story short, i then determined this has to be a internet problem, not SC or Softsqueeze problem. So i unplug my Linksys wrt54g power and plug it right back in, and the whole problem goes away. Why am i have probles all of the sudden? Please help. thanks p.s. during typing of this, problem reappeared, so i did my deal with unplugging, and sure enough, problem dissappeared. Thanks for all the replies all of my trouble turned out to be the plugin 'superdate'. When i turned it 'off', all my problems went away. When i was having problems, under task manager, cpu, SC was locking up at 100%. When or if the music would come back on, the %'s would drop down to way lower. When i turned the plugin off, everything is smooth as glass. i just don't understand why superdate would work perfect for about 1 week, then the sh** hits the fan?? Use 'softsqueeze' to listen to Squeezcenter on your computer. You can sync the 2 players with button on top right corner of SC. On SC, on the left towards the bottom there should be 'extras', click on that and you'll see 'softsqueeze' download info. Or just type 'softsqueeze 3.6 download' into your browser, and you'll find it. I have had the same problems...haven't called to complain about it yet, but it is very frustrating. I think i have it narrowed down to this: When the controller is not working, and cannot see my music on my computer, it is because there is a problem w/ SC on my computer. When i have problems with controller, i immediately go and see if SC will work on the computer. Sure enough, SC won't load, or come up on the computer and run like it should. I then restart my computer and try and get SC going again... usually this will solve the problem. SC comes up and works, and the controller immediately works, and show all of my music sources. [slim] Annoying audio coming from where???!!!
Can someone please help!! When using my computer(windows / xp), sometimes an annoying advertisement or spam or whatever it is will start to play in the background. It drives me nuts!! I would close or X it out, but i can't find it anywhere?? Control/alt/del shows nothing 'running', I close everything else out, and it is still playing! The most recent ad that keeps coming on is some joke or parody about Hillary Clinton. Sometimes i will hear a loud door 'open', then the ad starts, what is this?? The best fix is to just restart the computer, and that will take care of it for a while, until the next ad starts. [slim] iTunes playlists missing
Can someone please help me figure out why about 1/3 of my itunes playlist won't show up in SC? I've tried changing the playlist location under settings several different times and rescanning, but i can't figure out how to get 100% of my itunes playlists to show up in SC and my controller?? [slim] Help with blue light
I love this duet, and it works perfect most of the time. When it causes me grief, it's usually after it has sat for a long time, like overnight and then i try to use it in the morning. I think the bottom line with this problem has something to do with SC.So here are a few questions, and thanks for your help: 1. In order to use the controller, does SC have to be 'up and running' on my computer? I prefer SC over SN because I like to have access to the music on my computer without having to mess with plugins, etc.. 2. If I encounter 'Blue light' on SR, what are the 1st steps i need to do? When I have problems, the blue light is always 'on'. 3. Should i change the config of my duet to the ad hoc (spelling ??) set up? Would that help? I was thinking the same thing. This summer i will use the controller outdoors constantly, but how am i going to make it survive? I am going to build some sort of contraption that i can set it in when i'm not changing the song, station, or volume. whatever i make will be a multi purpose gadget. Some sort of 'hinged' lid to keep the controller dry, and also a spot to set my beer or drink in, keeping it out of the sun. I use 'coolies', but i still like to set my drink in the shade, while i sit in the sun. Hello, could someone please explain why most of my local radio stations won't play w/ radiotime anymore?? Worked just fine on slim 6.54, but with squeeze 7.0 i just get the 'not supported' attatched to every local station I want to play. I have the Duet w/ windows xp. Could somebody try and figure out how can i play my very favorite station, which is 103.3 Portland, Or (adult contemporary)?? Softsqueeze, and Squeezenetwork don't work either. Thanks to all the replies... i think i got now. i can listen to computer, home stereo @ same time. i 'sync'd everything, and i LOVE this duet!!! I can't wait to sit on the deck this summer or at the pool bar and be able to change stations, volume, sources, etc... without going into the house 20 times. This duet is exactly what i had hoped for!! My only concern is trying to keep the controller alive, since it will be used outdoors a lot. How much to fix it or replace it? Windows xp and duet hooked up today. Probably something really easy or dumb, but why no sound on the compueter when I play music using the sb controller, or using squeezecenter 7.0 on computer? I get sound no problem with rca cables from sb receiver to bose radio, but no sound on the computer!!
