[slim] Re - effing - buffering
I own a Squeezebox boom and have used it most days for over a year with no problems and have been very happy with it. Until recently. In fact I think my problems started when I installed the latest update (7.5.3). Since then, when listening to a radio station - any radio station - the boombox stops playing - rebuffering - regularly. So regularly that it is now impossible to listen to the radio. VERY Frustrating. The signal strength isn't perfect but this hasn't changed recently and the only thing to have been altered recently is the installation of the latest update. I've seen various other threads on this subject on here but not being technically minded, the solutions have flown over my head. I've got a shedload of music stored on this boombox and am reluctant to uninstall the thing and start again, however I have come close on a couple of occasions to throwing the box through the window. [slim] Disappointed
Anyone else in the UK bought one of these sets and disappointed with the lack of regional stations? I can easily get BBC Radio 1,2,3,4, five lives, 6, 7 etc but can't get BBC Radio Scotland or BBC Radio Alba, both of which are redaily available on my other (much cheaper) DAB radios and my computer. I've tried through the rest of the BBC channels and I've also tried manually entering the web link manually on my computer. I do suspect it is user error but I can't find it.
