Re: [slim] Wake up Lan NAS
Thanks for your suggestions epoch1970. I almost gave up this setup, but checking this thread this morning i found your answer. I really like to keep my storage separate from my running services. It would be nice to get this working. I'll checkout your suggestions. I'll think i do a feature request to build in a option (if possible) to wake up other devices (NAS). -- master_marcel master_marcel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22770 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80396 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[slim] Wake up Lan NAS
Hi, I'll hope this is the right forum. Let me explain the situation. I have a server running. Onto that server i installed Squeezebox server. I also have a DIY build NAS. I only use the NAS for file storage. So all music is stored on the NAS. I want all running services seperate from my storage. The NAS is going in sleep mode when not used. I already mounted the share where my music is stored (onto the NAS). Now the question. Is it possible to wake up the NAS when Squeezebox Server needs the music files? -- master_marcel master_marcel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22770 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80396 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[slim] Windows Home Server
I notice that there is a special release for Windows home server. I was wondering, are there plans to intregrate the web gui into Windows home server console? -- master_marcel master_marcel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22770 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59433 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

What kind of integration would you like to see? Michael First I have to say I love Squeezecenter, but what intregration I like to see? I want to manage everything from the Windows Home Server Console. So I like to see a icon in the Windows Home Server console what opens the (web)gui from Squeezecenter. Second is it possible to give notifications what the status is from Squeezecenter through the home server connector software? Maybe there are other Windows Home Server users overhere with other idea's... -- master_marcel master_marcel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22770 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59433 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
