Ok Jocke thanks for the reply. I play my spotify through mysb.com and it
works fine when i start a playlist or one song. But when you change song
by just dubbelclick on the song you want to play it starts for 2 sec and
then starts buffering. If you pause before you change or after you
change song it works just fine. This is a problem if you make playlists
with both local and spotify music and wants to change song from your
 ipod or iphone using remoteless.
Anyone els who has this problem?

I've always had this issue (you'll see my post a few pages back) even
with the old version of the application and both with SBS and mysb.com

Somebody suggested allowing port forwarding on your router but it
didn't work for me... let me know if you have more luck...

I've also noted that artwork is not working anymore under mysb.com :(

I have just managed to get a direct connection between my laptop and
squeezebox, without having to run it through squeeze centre server
 software.

I am now using DSBridge streaming through squeezenetwork , and thought
I should share it back, as it says a few times on this thread that this
 is not possible.

When you add the stream to your favourites in squeezenetwork /
mysqueezebox.com you need to add #slim:noscan=1 to the end of the URL.
So for me, I have 192.168.1.101:8124/#slim:noscan=1

The DSBridge software only seems to support one stream at a time.
Squeezenetwork tries to connect to validate the stream before playing,
which is tricky with internal IPs. It also creates a couple of streams,
which seems to break dsbridge. Using noscan avoids this, and seems to
 fix it!

 Very happy with this now!

that's brilliant, thanks mate!!!

thank you very much for your help. I haven't got a DLink so the
procedure was different but I think I've done it in the end...
unfortunately it doesn't seem to make any difference, rebuffering still
fails :(

Re: [slim] DSBridge - A simpler way to stream Spotify

2010-03-04 Thread orcocan

I've been using this for a few days and it's working ok most of the time
however I'm having quite a few problems if I listen to a song that I've
been listening to recently. It starts playing the song and then it
suddenly stops and starts rebuffering until I get a message of
rebuffering failed and basically I need to change song or there's no
other way to fix it... any idea? Am I the only one having this problem?
