[slim] 7.4 issues - controller slow and songs mixed up
Hi, I have two problems with 7.4 after having used it for about 2 weeks: 1: After a few hours the controller slows down and volume adjustment is almost not possible anymore. Needs to be restarted several times a day. 2: Mixed songs. I´ll give an example that occured today. I used the controler to play a Britney Spears song, like this: - Pressed My music/Artist/ - Scrolled down and pressed Britney Spears - Selected an album, and pressed to play the song Baby one more time - Insted of Britney I got a totally diffrent song by another artist in my speakers. So I did the same directly on the squeezebox server using the webb interface and there it worked, I got the Britney Spears song playing. I have noticed the same behaviour on a couple of toher songs. [slim] Volume rises very slowly since upgrade
Hi, Since I upgraded the controler to 7.4 it reacts very slowly on the volume dial and the buttons. If I press the buttons several times quickly, the volumne counts up (or down) about one step a second. Same if I use the dial, the controler needs up to 5 seconds just to step 3-4 step up ord down. [slim] Display weaker with 7.4?
Hi, Upgraded to 7.4 and found that the new gui on the controller has changed a great deal. It is a great step foward in my opinion, much easier to use, I wish the webb pages looked like that. I don´t know if I am just imagening this but it seems like the display contrast/backlight is even weaker that before, I adjusted it to max. In normal dayligt it is almost not readable. Anyone who has noticed the same? [slim] Nicer squeezecenter GUI
Hi, I can´t find any skins that makes the squeezecenter web interface look nice. I´m planning to buy an Asus eee Top to have on the wall as a touch screen dislpay. The ipeng giu looks great, but can I use that on a laptop? We plan to do a refresh, but rather next year than sooner. And there are no plans yet as how it would look. But if you have some HTML/CSS/JS skills, I'd be happy to help you come up with your own skin. It would be great to see what a nice looking web UI would be like. How hard is it to change the html and graphics? Can I find documentation on that? [slim] Lowest volume too high
Hi, I have a duet and if i press the controller volume decrease button until I reach the lowest possible volume, it still is rather high. [slim] SQueeze controller update failed for first time
Hi, When I first upgraded to 7.01 the squeeze controller started to signal when updates were available. It did so two times and downloadning worked prefectly. Now today I tried to force an update manually by selectin software update in the menu. To my surprise the display says that there is an update available, and I select begin update. After a whiel I get the message There was a problem upgrading this remote, please try again or contact support.
