Re: [slim] HTTP 1.0 403 Access Forbidden when playiing mms Internet Radio

2008-09-24 Thread theta

Thanks a lot,
I got the question here, what's the 203.69.144.132/203.69.144.194?
Is it same as jason.onweb.idv.tw?

How about hich611991FB-3FA2-4989-92A2-51A3B90BFAEC, is it also same
as radio4r.asp?ID=308?

If so, how do you know mms://jason.onweb.idv.tw/radio4r.asp?ID=308 =
mms://203.69.144.132/203.69.144.194/live.media.hinet.net/Radio_KissRadio_Net?hich611991FB-3FA2-4989-92A2-51A3B90BFAEC
?

Because I have other similar mms links, the difference between those
mms radios is last 3 or 2 digits, for example,
mms://jason.onweb.idv.tw/radio4r.asp?ID=XXX

XXX =308 or 222 or 228 or 248 or 87 or 205 or 177

Re: [slim] HTTP 1.0 403 Access Forbidden when playiing mms Internet Radio

2008-09-24 Thread theta

The link you gave to me earlier used to work, but now it is not
working.
mms://203.69.144.132/203.69.144.194/live.media.hinet.net/Radio_KissRadio_Net?hich611991FB-3FA2-4989-92A2-51A3B90BFAEC
=
Then I copy the new link from your 2nd instruction, SB3 can play it
well
mms://203.69.144.132/203.69.144.194/live.media.hinet.net/Radio_kissradio?hichB8FE76FB-7DD9-4649-84BF-7EBC344D8D12

===
But I wonder will this link change frequently? I mean maybe 1st link
work for minutes, then expired, then 2nd one can work for another
minutes, then...I have to change the link again and agin, what do you
think?

[slim] HTTP 1.0 403 Access Forbidden when playiing mms Internet Radio

2008-09-23 Thread theta

When SqueezeBox 3 plays internet radio with SqueezeCenter 7.1 or 7.2 (I
uninstalled 7.1 first, then reboot Windows XP, then intsalled 7.2), SB3
got HTTP 1.0 403 Access Forbidden , I can play these internet radios
(see below URL link) with Microsoft Media Player and SoftSqueeze 3.5 in
my laptop or other desktop computers without any problem.

mms://jason.onweb.idv.tw/radio4r.asp?ID=308

I checked the HTTP 1.0 403 Access Forbidden in Microsoft, it said,
try removing Language in the IE--Tiools--Internet
Options--General--Languages. But it did not help, could someone
advise how to deal with this kind of problem?

 No IR, no earphone...

That leaves only the Bottle Rocket plugin and X10 hardware:

 http://www.tux.org/~peterw/slim/BottleRocket.html

Or an amp that can wake itself up on detection of a line signal.

Re: [slim] IR Emitter Question

2007-04-07 Thread theta

I used WinLirc software to learn my YAMAHA YSP-800, I rename it to
ysp800.conf and then put it under /mnt/slimserver/Plugin/IRBlaster/ , I
re-start slimserver, I only saw IR-Blaster checkbox is checked in the
http://ip:9000\home\server settings\plugins\, I still cannot see IR
Blaster web page like this
http://www.gwendesign.com/slimserver/dev_hard_and_software.htm#irblaster,
could someone advise how to show IR Blaster web page?

I use slimserver 6.3, Linkstation HG-300 ppc, Debian linux.

Thanks

 Hey theta

The package you need from lirc.org is remotes.tar.bz2 which contains
files for different devices. After unpacking it you need to find a
suitable .conf file for your amplifier. Put only this file into the
 IRBlaster directory.

Then restart SlimServer or reload the .conf file from the IRBlaster
 settings webpage.

Then the device selection dropdown should contain your newly added
device; choose it and select a button then test it with the test
 button.

 Cheers
 Felix
