[slim] SB Classic - where do I turn off SHUFFLE
Got a new squeezebox classic last week, plugged it into power in my office and did all the configs right next to my Intel mac mini. It took most of a day to get all the wireless configs to work and be happy, but once it was talking and running I took it downstairs and plugged it into my stereo. used the remote to scroll through my music, picked an album hit play, and - its shuffling through it! Tried another, same thing. How can I set this to just play through an album normal, playing tracks 1-10 in order?? I looked through the Classic manual and didn't see it. I also looked in SB Server configs and didn't see a shuffle setting - help help!! -- thewebgal thewebgal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36239 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75043 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] SB Classic - where do I turn off SHUFFLE
Thanks! I guess the intuitive thing was lost on me ... sheesh - brought the Classic and remote up to my office, (next to my Mac mini Airport Extreme) used the remote to cycle through the options and left it on do not shuffle - a few moments later it rebooted! It seems to do that a lot. Does 30,000+ songs push its limits? -- thewebgal thewebgal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36239 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75043 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Does it actually reboot (including the Squeezebox logo screen), or just reconnect? Looks like a reboot! Goes pitch black, then comes back with a logo and a welome and all of that ... then leads me through checking configs - ugh! Its okay, I've got it all boxed up now waiting for an RMA - I'm going to try other tech ... this is too funky, even at $180 -- thewebgal thewebgal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36239 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75043 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Life is too short to fool with funky hardware. Just got the RMA number and sealed the box - I'd haul it to UPS to go out today if it wasn't for this 24+ inches of snow everywhere! I nearly bought a used Duet via Craigslist over the weekend, but decided I wanted a warrantee - and was going to wait for the Touch - but this hits my buy point just fine! eeagle;512593 Wrote: The Duet was $249 on Amazon BF so keep a lookout for one...the controller alone is worth the price. It is very handy to have full access including album art and track details at your fingertips. The amazing thing for me is that it controls all my devices radio, duet receiver, even the SqueezePlay (soft squeeze) on my computers, and now the Classic, which is on the way. The in hand control is even more convenient than the Touch which must be wired into a system and not portable, but of course the ultimate is a controller and the Touch if and when it get released. Great tip, thanks! My friend showed me his mac mini based system with a Duet last weekend, and it seemed VERY nice - sold me on the whole Squeezebox tech! -- thewebgal thewebgal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36239 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74687 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
