[slim] Re: SB2 not connecting with WPA and AES

Not to pile on here...

I'm having the same issue with a Buffalo Airstation G54s, if you want
to test with it as well.

Thanks,

[slim] Creating sortable artist/album/genre spreadsheet from id tags

2005-11-12 Thread tikiking

Hi all,

This may be a little off topic for this forum, but I'm looking for some
sort of software solution to creating a spreadsheet of my entire music
collection with fields taken from the id tags on the files themselves.

Specifically I have somewhere around 1,200 albums, of which about 95%
are in FLAC format, and the remainders in MP3. I'd like to be able to
keep and update a list of my collection that could be sorted by date,
title, artist, and genre, but I obviously don't want to hand enter all
of that when the files themselves have the information already
embedded.

I've worked a fair amount with Excel, and have barely touched MS
Access. Is this a good way to go (and if so how), or is there a better
way?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

You know, I keep coming back to this post. I really like the Danish
Modern look of this project. If you ever decide to go through with it
I'd be very interested in buying a kit from you...
