I would like to try your program but I have a problem in that I migrated my LMS database from WHS 2011 to Linux on QNAP NAS and I cannot get under the bonnet to get to /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/library.db. I guess best option is to copy database to windows and run the program. Is there a way (like CMD in windows) to get to non network folders? [slim] Squeezebox as DLNA renderer?
I would like to play streamed music which is not available on mysqueezebox.com. eg Nokia mix radio using my surface 2 as a controller and send it to a DLNA renderer. I can do this to my AV amp (DLNA player) but I have another squeezebox classic and non-dlna amp in another room. My network sees the squeezebox as a media device. In Nokia mix radio and media monkey metro app I can select devices from charm menu and select the squeezebox but it does not play even with music playing on the tablet first. This site has been instrumental in exposing me to many artists I had never heard of and unlikely to do so. I have then gone on to buy CDs (always cheaper than download) and download single tracks. UK radio is dreadful.
