Re: [slim] 2 Questions
If you're using windows and music quality is an issue, you probably want squeezeslave2. Get the ASIO version and either install ASIO4ALL or buy an ASIO output device (I'm using a $30 Behringer box with good results). This keeps Windows' direct sound mixer out of your signal path. -- bobkoure bobkoure's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14646 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80388 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Softsqueeze - this emulates the older style players (SB3/Classic, Transporter, Boom, ...). This used to be available through the web interface to Squeezeboxserver, you'd have to search the forums to find out how to get it now, I don't recall. Squeezeslave - this is a gui-less player, typically you would run it from a command tool. It's nice because it's small and doesn't require any display resources. Not sure about printing playlists - may actually be third-party apps or other music software which could handle this better. P you mean softsqueeze. squeezeplay one must still download from the nightlies section. (unless this has changed for 7.6. In 7.5, it is community softsqueeze that you can download.) -- garym garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80388 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
