[slim] I'm also seeing music stuttering.

The stuttering isn't regular and appears fairly random. It could be only
once every few hours for 30 seconds, or on and off for a period of a few
hours. It isn't machine utilisation since during the last period of
stuttering (stats below) it could almost no CPU usage on the machine.

Is there any other info I can gather to try diagnose this? I guess in
the absence of any other advice my next step will be trying to run a
network cable to the Squeezebox, although that will be a pain in the
butt.

You do have some buffer fill problems, but it doesn't seem to be caused
by poor wireless strength or anything server related.

That leaves interference.  Does this happen when you use a microwave
oven or cordless phone?  Are you near neighbors with such devices?

You might want to play around with a wireless survey, changing
channels, antenna orientation and the like.  See
