Re: [slim] Premature endings
Hi, had this once ore twice, and could not find the reason. Finally I had thoughts on my wireless repeater. When I switched that off (I only need it for a computer downstairs) the problem was gone. Meanwhile I am using a apple TC, and as a repeater a apple AEX, with that setup it works fine, but it occured once again. I then restarted my server (win xppro) and everything went well.. carrera -- carrera 3XSBClassic (davon zwei als Reserve eingelagert), Transporter,Duet, iPeng Server: XPPro, Files: FLAC carrera's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14292 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71451 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Mine are all ripped from EAC using (generally) FLAC but occassional WAV files that havent yet been converted. Re: [slim] Premature endings
I used to see this when I had softsqueeze or squeezelsave synced with crossfade to a SB3. This wasn't supported. May help you finding the problem. May also occur where you are transcoding? -- lrossouw 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/lrossouw) lrossouw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3416 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71451 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Premature endings
I have a couple of SB3s and have had them for several years. One problem that seems to come up more often lately is a song ending prematurely, and the next in the album then starting up. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? If it were interference to the wireless hookup wouldnt it lose the signal completely and then have to re-establish SC (this happens occasionally with the microwave etc). -- Zac Zac's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34321 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71451 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
