Also clearly caused by my own stupidity. However the log events read: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Can't use string () as a subroutine ref while strict refs in use at /PerlApp/Slim/Buttons/Common.pm line 1081. Second crash, exact same log. -- Mark Lanctot Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26073 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

It really needs to shed the plugin side. If a user isn't using the feature, the overhead is very low. -k ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Have you since tried it again perhaps with a different radio station? I just tried and I was unable to reproduce the crash. Although, I am using 6.3.1. Could you try reproducing this with 6.3.1? -- Ross L Ross Levine Slim Devices Tech Support [EMAIL PROTECTED] +1.650.210.9400 ext. 3 Ross L's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4416 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26073 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I'll try 6.3.1. It doesn't matter which radio station I listen to. Adding it to Favorites is fine, it's pressing the Favorites button that causes the crash. The crash occurs regardless of what I'm playing - Internet radio or my music library. -- Mark Lanctot Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26073 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Re: Favorites in 6.3.x
Umm, I'm wondering if the fact that I had the Favorites plugin disabled had anything to do with it...blush Works fine after altering that fairly critical setting. -- Mark Lanctot Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26073 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
