Track info not written to db. This is induced by browsing to folder
before scanning the folder (i.e before doing a db rescan).

It looks like maybe the Browse Music Folder autoscan isn't getting far
enough along before you hit Play.

Some things to try:

1) Browse to the folder and then wait a few seconds. Does this give the
server time to find all the tracks? Check in the SQL viewer to confirm.
This is going on the theory that the Play request is coming in before
the folder scan can finish.

2) Browse to the folder and then scroll thru each track. On scrolling
back around to the lead track, hit Play. Again, check SQL viewer to
confirm that the tracks are getting into the db.

3) Browse to the folder, waiting or scrolling as necessary. Then browse
or search by artist or album (db, not folder navigation). Do you find
all of the tracks? Hit Play here instead.

And please file a bug report. This should be fixable in code and all
will benefit.

I can confirm that this has happened to me also a few times. In my
eagerness to hear a new album which I am ripping to flac I sometimes
dive straight into Browse Folders and hit Play on the first track.
This plays fine but the following tracks won't until a full rescan is
done.

My workaround so far has been to let the ripping process run its course
while I go elsewhere and have a cup of tea.

Thanks RT, I'll try those tests this evening. Last night I did pause
upon entering the folder before playing tracks, but I didn't record how
long I waited. I'll be a bit more professional tonight. Testing with a
db search and double checking with the SQL Lite client is a good idea.

Thanks,
Dan
