[slim] Re - effing - buffering
I own a Squeezebox boom and have used it most days for over a year with no problems and have been very happy with it. Until recently. In fact I think my problems started when I installed the latest update (7.5.3). Since then, when listening to a radio station - any radio station - the boombox stops playing - rebuffering - regularly. So regularly that it is now impossible to listen to the radio. VERY Frustrating. The signal strength isn't perfect but this hasn't changed recently and the only thing to have been altered recently is the installation of the latest update. I've seen various other threads on this subject on here but not being technically minded, the solutions have flown over my head. I've got a shedload of music stored on this boombox and am reluctant to uninstall the thing and start again, however I have come close on a couple of occasions to throwing the box through the window. For now, i'd just install 7.5.2. You shouldn't lose all your settings or music, as these are not stored on boombox they are in your SbS settings and your music is stored on your own computer. worst case you may need to do a clear and rescan on your music library, but the music is still there!
