I read this and tried mine, it still works. I have two locations and it does struggle a bit to switch servers. Material just switches effortlessly. If you haven't tried this, I can walk into a friend's house, launch material, and control his system. I like to add something like Wild Man Fisher into his queue just before leaving :) I agree, I use material most of the time, but squeeze cntrl has some neat features. Ron, why not post your issue over at the squeeze control thread? Wayne will see it there, and he has always responded fairly fast. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?96757-Annouce-Squeeze-Control-a-squeezebox-remote-app-is-now-available-for-Android=squeeze+cntrl Jim Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116125 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Jeez, now Squeeze Control has stopped working altogether. "Squeeze Control keeps stopping". I suppose uninstall/reinstall might be the way to go, but perhaps it's time to go to Material Skin. Re: [slim] Reconnecting to PiCore
I had wife in there twice, but only saw and corrected one, at first. I laughed. I'd like to think it wasn't my subconscious peaking through. Squeeze Control seems to see the server, see below. 37494 Since that is the actual name I've given it, all should be well. There doesn't seem to be any way to check the IP address, which it must have if it is finding the server. Still won't connect to LMS. R. Are you using wifi? It will only connect if the wifi SSID and password are the same As it is a new router the IP will be different. Re: [slim] Reconnecting to PiCore
Further to the above, LMS IS running and I am able to connect to it through the PcP interface at the relevant IP address (which was changed slightly). This is through an ethernet connection. Wifi is working fine, my mobile is connected to it. But it seems that Squeeze Control is not able to connect to the server for some reason, perhaps because it is trying the wrong IP address. But I can't make it find the right address. It could be an issue with Squeeze Control, or it could be something else, now sure what. R. [slim] Reconnecting to PiCore
My not-so-very old router died so I got a new one, which was set up after some glitches related to the updated firmware. But working fine now. Except I can't seem to get the PiCorePlayer to be recognized. Have rebooted the Pi, and then tried to connect from my computer through the relevant IP address, but can't. Can't play music. It's not been too long since I set this up, and it has mostly been working all right (not perfectly), but I can't remember what if anything else I'm supposed to do to get the router to see it. Tell me what I'm forgetting, please! ron LMS on a dedicated server (FitPC3) Transporter (Ethernet) - main listening, Onkyo receiver, Paradigm speakers Touch (WiFi) - home theater 5.1, Sony receiver, Energy speakers Boom 1 (WiFi) - work-space Boom 2 (WiFi) - various (deck, garage, etc.) Radio (WiFi) - home office Control - Squeeze Control (Android mobile), 2 Controllers (seldom used), Squeeze Remote (on Surface Pro 4) Touch x 1 - spare UE Radio x 1 - spare Boom x 1 - spare Controller x 1 - Spare Duet Receiver (backup) RonM's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17029 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116125 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
