I installed squeezecenter 7.0 about a month ago, and now every so often, it completely takes over the cpu. I'm running OSX 10.4.11 on a old G4. In Activity Monitor, I see perl at ~60% and mysqld in the 20% range. I'm not a computer genius, but I assume that when this happens SqueezeCenter is rescanning or something, because it's not even serving up music to either one of my squeezeboxen at the time. Is this normal? This never happened to my set up under SS 6. The only reason that I can tell something is up is because what ever program I am trying to run becomes so sluggish as to be unusable.
