I now have it working again. I've done two things at once so am unsure of what has fixed the problem. I rolled back the Billion's firmware to the previous one (which I only upgraded 2 days ago) + I'm letting the router assign the IP address. I'm thinking it could very well be the latest firmware version on the Billion. I've not heard of that being a particular issue, I use WPA security without a problem on my units. I have 2xSB2 and 1xSB3 using WPA running on the same model Netgear router without any issues. What Mode do you have it running in? If on up to 270 try taking it down to gb mode and seeing if that improves your connection rate. [slim] Security Issues with WPA
Hi All, I used to have issues running the SB2 when I set my Netgear DG834GT router to WPA security. The SB2 would drop out every few minutes then reconnect to the router. The SB2 worked fine with WEP or no security. I've just upgraded to a Billion 7404VGP and the SB2 has the same issues. Works flawlessly on WEP security but regularly disconnects when using WPA setting. Is this a known issue or is there anything I should be looking at in my settings?
