[slim] SlimServer not opening
I have a strange problem. I have downloaded both 6.5.1 and 6.5.2, They appear to install properly. I set them up during install to open during Windows turn-on. At the end of the installation the software will open and the tray icon will appear. But, when I turn my computer off and restart it, the Slimserver software will not open. It does not start automatically. I can double click the desktop icon or go to the programs menu and select it there. It simply will not start. Does anyone have any input as to why this is happening? Try turning off your personal firewall (assuming there is one) and antivirus application, and then retry. I failed to mention that the firewall is completely shut off and this computer does not have antivirus software on it.
