I had a Slim Devices unit that lost one analog out channel but the optical out worked fine.. Did not attempt the repair - poor solder skills - used a little optical to rca converter until I replaced with a Touch. As you've read this is known fault. Good luck! Would you believe the polarised output capacitors were fitted reversed. Hi All, I have lost one channel in one of my squeezeboxes. I'm tired of buying moreI seem to have a lot of display and audio failures - 3 already dead over the years. Does anyone have a schematic, or at least know what the most likely dead device is for the right analog audio output chain. (A buffer op amp or the DAC itself?) The thing sure does generate large audio transients on power on or supply connection. A lot of DC offset initially. Perhaps the cause.
