I seriously doubt that any touch UI would be suitable for a remote
controlled device. Imagine you'd have to drag stuff around your TV set
using an IR remote... It's a totally different interaction model.
Unfortunate for the developer, as he'll have to re-invent stuff.
Fortunate for him if he can sale additional products ;)

It depends on the type of remote I think...

Imagine using the Wii Remote as controller, I.e. you can *point* the
remote to an item on the screen, drag and drop it, fling the screen and
so on...

Anyway, we should wait on an actual device to see what kind of UI is
possible...

 interface on the TV screen?

Get a video card that supports HDMI and hook the TV to that computer.

I bought a 35ft hdmi cable online for $28 plus freight.

If you don't know about multiple monitor support you'll need some
schooling.

real stereo makes the lights dim on the bass notes. (this means your amp
could also use it's own circuit.)

If you just want information shown
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74270

or you could go for the server web interface
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000

either way you need something to run the webinterface´unless your tv
can do that.
