Re: [slim] Preferred AP list in WiFi?
@FredFredrickson: Both APs have the same SSID and Key (same PSK) in order to allow seamless roaming on the laptop. @danco: I hadn't thought of mac blocking, I'll check into that on the livingroom AP. How does it connect to the second access point without the WPA key? If you never supply it, is it possible it'll never connect? Change your key on the wireless router you don't want it to connect to. -- FredFredrickson FredFredrickson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16584 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46105 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Preferred AP list in WiFi?
Depending on the AP, it may well be possible to restrict access to it to certain MAC addresses. That could be inconvenient, for instance if a friend brought over a laptop and wanted to connect. But you can use this method to prevent the SB from connecting to this AP. -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46105 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
