Re: [slim] SlimServer on Linux and iTunes problems
Is it required to bounce slimserver after enabling the iTunes integration maybe? I have not restarted in in over a month. You can always try it. OTOH you wrote I have given open permissions on the 'iTunes' directory, You not only need setting it on that folder, but on the parent folders as well, starting with /home/username. Otherwise SlimServer can't even reach the folder it'd be allowed to acces. Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

My issue is only with the 'iTunes Music Library.xml' file. As far as I can see, this file needs to be in My Documents/My Music/iTunes. If I could change the location of the file or somehow use symbolic links for this file, I do not think I would be having such problems. -- jst1 jst1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9160 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35930 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
