 c'est quoi des javas ?

do you want all the people to use your soft or not ?

on the first page to download it, you ask download for windows with java
 or without java ?

If I don't know what is Java my experience of open office is stopped since

Cher Luigi,

informatiaque:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java

English: this list is in English, see French pages
Java is many things, coffee, a dance, an island, a computer program (see
link)
You can download OOo for Windows with or without Java. If you know you have
a recent version of Java on your computer, download OOo without it, if not,
or if in doubt, download OOo with Java.

Re: [discuss] help with writer

2008-03-05 Thread Rrambo899
Hi,

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this question. I have a open
office writer file that is corrupt or something is wrong with it. The
file/page(s) has html links and tables on some of the pages, I am suspecting
this
has something to do with the error.

I re-loaded openoffice, and still are not able to use the file. After
reloading openoffice, I was able to open the file, but the computer locks up,
so I
cannot scroll, copy, just ctrl, alt, delete openoffice.

Any tools to rebuild this file w/o opening it, or suggestions?

Just rename the file to something.zip, unzip it and you'll find some xml
files. These can be opened with an text editor, such as gEdit, Emacs, Vi or
even OpenOffice.org, edited and saved. Then zip it again and rename it to
something.odt.

inside)?

Thanks
