looks good :)

i'm about ready to build up a dev env on my home mac.

question: is there an idea license for restlet developers available?

Hi all,

I've been quite busy with the Grizzly connector recently and the JXTA one is
the next on my plan too :)

We have a Wiki page ready to receive design propositions:
http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Javawsxml/RestletDiscussionsJXTA

Look forward to working with all of you guys!

Best regards,
Jerome

 hey fred, thierry -

i lost my (high end) video card on my home dev linux box. i
am in the process of sending it
back to the manufacturer just this very moment.

as such, i'm down one of my principal home dev systems.

that said, here's my short term plans (help is welcomed):

get the jxta/restlet wiki updated re context and
definitions (which will help w/ alignment) and short term objectives
get the standalone code completed for (largely done)
   server socket and socket
   multicast
look for ways to best provide the above jxta code as an
 optional transport

i am basically brining my experience from meerkat (
 http://meerkat.dev.java.net http://meerkat.dev.java.net )
 to host under the restlet
api for obvious reasons. it is a bit challanging as jxta
operates at the socket level and is the first of it's kind
to apply to the restlet framework, with the exception of
lower level adoption of grizzly based on some discussion
   on this topic with jerome.

so, that's where i'm at. not having access to my home dev
ubuntu box for the last 2w+ has been a reall PITA,
but i hope to get that fixed soon.

help/collaboration is appreciated. i do believe that a wiki
page on this topic is likely critical so as to help those
interested in collaborating to best connect the dots.

   does this help?
