Re: Translations for upcoming Django 1.9

2015-11-25 Thread Fòram na Gàidhlig
"Scottish Gaelic" and "Gàidhlig", please.

I have also just sent a pull request for the datetime formats etc.

https://github.com/django/django/pull/5723

I don't understand the flake8 error, could somebody please have a look?

Thank you :)

How to test my translation?

2015-11-27 Thread Fòram na Gàidhlig
Hi all,

First of all, a big thanks to the devs to reacting to all my queries
that fast! Also, string design is generally very good :)

I have now managed to set up a Django environment for testing and have
done some in-context proofreading on the admin interface. I would also
like to do that for core and the other modules. Is there a ready-made
application somwhere that I can use? I tried searching for one, but the
search results get me info on unit tests, which isn't what I need here,
or a plethora of unrelated test_djanngo repositories on Github.

Re: Wrong plural form used in Polish translation when the number is 14.

2017-04-28 Thread Fòram na Gàidhlig
You can contact Transifex here:

https://www.transifex.com/contact/

You sould also compare with the plural rule in the CLRD, to make sure
that the error isn't there already. Transifex updated the Polish Plural
forms recently to match the CLDR.

http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/latest/supplemental/language_plural_rules.html#pl

If thee is a problem in the CLDR, you can file a ticket:

That's a tougher situation - I guess we'll need to separate the "x days"
bit then with npgettext and have a "X, Y ago" string? Or maybe 2 of
those, one for day/month and one for month/year?
