Re: Kerberos authent implementation
Thanks a lot for your response, we use django-auth-ldap too, for openldap, but for regular AD, I am still waiting some stuff, I started to modify my settings.py, hope this works. No problem for Kerberos, maybe someone will read my post and give advices ! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group. RE: Kerberos authent implementation
Hi Benjamin, If it’s any help to you, we use LDAP through Active Directory for our authentication system. We use the django-auth-ldap package. It’s been a little tricky with the upgrade to Python 3/Django 2, but it’s quite manageable. Unfortunately, I can’t help you much with Kerberos authentication. RE: Kerberos authent implementation
What would be the motivation for Kerberos authentication? Why not just use LDAP authentication? Just wondering for my own edification. Can someone give me advices? I saw Django-kerberos and django-auth-kerberos, but there are not much maintenairs on those, so is it more appropriate to develop my own Django Backend to handle this authentication?
