I would say the navigation app available at
http://code.google.com/p/greatlemers-django-tools/
is better than django-navbar (it supports multiple menu hierarchies,
menu items can be represented by absolute urls, named urls and even
querysets and fine grained access control on who can see each item),
but then again I may be a bit biased about that!

Alas this project is still a little rough around the edges (although
it is stable) and hasn't been tested against Django 1.1 either so may
not be of use to you (unless it works of course ;-) It is however,
down on my list of things to deal with in the very near future
(hopefully this weekend if I have time).

django-navbar

2009-06-18 Thread Lars Stavholm

Has anyone been able to use django-navbar successfully
in latest Django 1.1 (from trunk)?

Any ideas on how to use it appreciated.

Or maybe there's a better navigation bar plugin?

django-navbar in 1.0

2008-10-20 Thread Juanjo Conti

Hi! I am trying to use django-navbar app[0], but I am getting troubles
because it seems to be pre 1.0. Does anyone know about it? Does any one
use it with django 1.0?

Thanks,

Juanjo
