This should be remedied now as Jaromil updated the DNS entry this morning. It will just take time to propagate. Presently, if you need to hit the server, it's reachable at 12.153.3.30. -- Linux O'Beardly @LinuxOBeardly http://o.beard.ly linux.obear...@gmail.com On Wed, Nov 29, 2017 at 8:29 AM, KatolaZwrote: > Dear D1rs, > > as you might have notices, amprolla.devuan.org is currently > unreachable due to an unpredicted outage. [DNG] amprolla.devuan.org and list of alternative package mirrors
Dear D1rs, as you might have notices, amprolla.devuan.org is currently unreachable due to an unpredicted outage. This means that some of the users using auto.mirror.devuan.org will not be able to install/upgrade packages. In the meanwhile, you can use any of the Devuan package mirrors below: pkgmaster.devuan.org sledjhamr.org/devuan mirror.4isp.it mirror.koddos.net/devuan/devuan devuan.alcooland.it devuan.dcc.uchile.cl mirror.smallinnovations.nl devuan.mine.nu mirror.vpgrp.io ftp.fau.de/devuan Notice that you might need to update the package "devuan-keyring", especially if you have not apt-get upgrad-ed in the last two months. We are in the process of putting in place a proper CDN for the mirror infrastructure, that's why we haven't advertised those mirrors widely. We will put the current list on the website ASAP. Not necessarily. Moving from unstable to testing merely means that nobody using unstable was annoyed enough by any breakage to file a sufficiently severe bug report against the package within the grace period (ten days for packages with urgency=low, IIRC). > Having just checked my sid install there are no signs of apparmor being > a dependency for the kernel or for Samba. As Adam mentioned, its a Recommends: of the kernel but you may be left with a non-booting machine unless you pass an `apparmor=0` to the kernel at boot time.
