Hi,

I am using iceweasel 38.5.0 in Devuan 64 bit and still cannot access
git.devuan.org. The 'complaint' put forward by iceweasel is the site
is untrusted.

Iceweasel version 38.5.0 is still refusing to connect to
git.devuan.org insisting the site is untrusted. I am using Devuan 64
bit.

Have you cleared your browser's cache and history? Both Opera and
Firefox (43.0.1 Windows) connect without complaint for me, showing the
Let's Encrypt certificate.

Perhaps Let's Encrypt isn't included in the default certification
authorities in your Iceweasel build (unlikely). Visit
https://letsencrypt.org and check the Support pages.  --Don

I can confirm this, some browsers are reporting the certificate as invalid 
still.

Iceweasel doesn't cause a problem for me, palemoon does. 

Someone has confirmed when I asked that other browsers were fine but firefox 43 
(linuxmint) was not. 

The error is:

[DNG] Expired SSL certificate for git.devuan.org

Just expired today.

I belive it was a certificate from StartSSL(?)

Right now it's possible to get also free valid certificates from Let's
Encrypt. They are valid only for 3 months, but the process to get them it's
fast, simple, and automatic.
