Dear All,

thanks a lot for your effort in helping battle-testing amprolla3. We
have several dozen distinct IPs currently using amprolla3, and we had
already the first bug report and fix on Saturday night/Sunday morning
(thanks to Arnt and Olaf for reporting, and to parazyd for fixing it)
:)

Due to a glitch in repo config (and a bug in amprolla3), people who
had ascii-backports in their sources.list and apt-get upgraded using
amprolla3 before yesterday afternoon (Sunday Oct. 22nd, 13:00 CEST)
might have got unwanted packages from stretch-backports.

If you are among those and you think your system might be affected, no
need to panic: there is a simple procedure to revert all those
packages back to pure Devuan stuff, using two easy (and temporary)
pins, and 4 commands. We have tested it and it works. Just shout if
this is the case, and we will report the procedure here and/or on
dev1galaxy, as needed.

Please continue using amprolla3 as much as possible, so that we can
cover as many corner-cases as possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this glitch, and thanks again
for your precious continued efforts in helping making Devuan a free,
stable, dependable universal operating system.

HND
