Dragan: From: Martinx - ジェームズ thiagocmarti...@gmail.com If you know how to help us with the correct solution that will immediately work correctly, you are very welcome to our community. What about eudev? I don't know if eudev is successfully ported to debian to satisfy all dependencies? Let me remind you.. a lot of packages depends on udev, and without them we would get pretty unusable desktop. Some packages depend on udev for the wrong reasons. I intend to build -nonudev- packages and publish them at: http://turkos.aspodata.se/computing/nonudev/ In case anyone else would need them. Well, I finally burned a cd and gave the live disk a spin - it booted pretty quickly. Great job guys! TRIOS could be a viable option for me moving forward. Only a few comments. I have never liked the whisker menu - too many words, too many icons, too shiny UGH! Easy enough to get the default menu back though. :) A full Libre Office install means that I would have to be doing a custom install to get only the writer. (Lack of Libre Office as default is one reason I like Refracta.) Latest FF/Iceweasel sucks but nothing can be done about that. Everything was going pretty smoothly until I exited to reboot. The shutdown sequence did not stop to allow for removal of the disk. Instead it immediately rebooted the CD and there was no option in the menu to restart/reboot. It was a messy shutdown from the big button which I don't want to do again. This ungraceful exit needs to be fixed. If `systemd-udev` is the only systemd-thing that your guys have left in TRIOS, then, with `eudev`, you can kick `systemd` out of TRIOS easily. It worth trying to package it in the same way we have `libudev1`, `libudev-dev`, etc, but, from `eudev` sources... The programs that depends on udev, will not see any difference (I believe).
