[docbook-apps] Re: [docbook] DocBook 5 modules?
Hi Bob, Indeed DocBook suffered a major transformation for 5.0 since it is now developped as a RNG schema instead of a DTD. Other versions than RNC/RNG are automatically generated. For more information: http://www.docbook.org/docs/howto/ and notably http://www.docbook.org/docs/howto/#cust-attributes Camille. DuCharme, Bob wrote: I'm a little behind with DocBook, and I can't find module files for it such as dbpool.mod and dbhier.mod. (Or maybe I missed some major re-engineering step in DocBook's evolution!) I downloaded 5.0 from http://www.docbook.org/xml/5.0/ , which seems to lead only to one- or two-file versions of DocBook. http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/5.0/ has only one file, and that tells me me that 5.0 hasn't been released yet. Are there other places to look? I wanted to add an attribute to a few elements and thought that I'd insert it into the appropriate local.whatever.attrib parameter entity declaration, but I can't find the declaration anywhere. thanks, Bob DuCharme Disclaimer: --- This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information. [docbook-apps] [dblatex] With ulink, displaying the URL in the PDF output?
commentI cannot find a list or forum dedicated to ulink url=http://dblatex.sourceforge.net/;dblatex/ulink so I post here./comment I use dblatex to produce PDF files. By default, things like: paraMon ulink url=http://www.bortzmeyer.org/;blog/ulink est très bien aussi./para are translated, in the PDF output, in a working link but the displayed text is only the content of the ulink, the url attribute value is not displayed. Fine for the screen but really annoying for the printed value. I do not find an option of dblatex to display the URL. dblatex allows to set LaTeX's hyperref parameters but I find no such parameters in ulink url=http://stackoverflow.com/questions/796658/display-the-url-after-the-link;hyperref/ulink. At this time, the only solution I see is a bit of XSL to rewrite my 'ulink url=http://www.bortzmeyer.org/;blog/ulink' into 'ulink url=http://www.bortzmeyer.org/;blog/ulink (systemitemhttp://www.bortzmeyer.org//systemitem)' before giving the Docbook document to dblatex. A better solution? - To unsubscribe, e-mail: docbook-apps-unsubscr...@lists.oasis-open.org For additional commands, e-mail: docbook-apps-h...@lists.oasis-open.org

A better solution? An alternative might be use a 'type' attribute in the 'ulink' and customize the 'ulink' template in 'xref.xsl' to output the wanted code. Michael PS: Me too stumbled over too few configuration parameters in dblatex. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: docbook-apps-unsubscr...@lists.oasis-open.org For additional commands, e-mail: docbook-apps-h...@lists.oasis-open.org
