[docbook-apps] Breaking docbook into multiple files

Hi,

  I have another simple question. What is the recommended way of
splitting a large docbook document into multiple other ? I see two
options:

- XInclude
- Inside the DCOTYPE, as !ENTITY new-name SYSTEM filename

What are the drawbacks/ advantages ?

Bob Stayton has a nice section covering modular DocBook in his book:

I prefer XIncludes, although they tend to be a little slower to process.
