Re: [libreoffice-documentation] LibreOffice print
Not familiar with "printing professional quality brochures". However, as far as I know, a PDF is a PDF in that sense that if the file conforms to the standard then it can be used for any purpose intended for a PDF. A printer would most likely want a PDF/A since that must be a self contained document. Draw exports PDF/A. Don't know about the "quality" of the PDF. I expect would be based on two things, the source program's internal representations of the objects to print and the PDF printer's fidelity rendering them. Mac does print to PDF. Check bottom left of printer selection dialog for "PDF" button. Re: [libreoffice-documentation] LibreOffice print
LibreOffice Draw has a menu option File>Export as PDF..., so yes it can. Also, if you're using Windows 10 it has it's own built-in PDF printer. Select "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer and it will produce a PDF of the document. [libreoffice-documentation] Proposal for 7.x guide template
Hi Team I have created a template candidate for our next 7.0 Guide books available in the cloud at https://nextcloud.documentfoundation.org/s/minfbKWnn6XQkXq This is work in progress and comment are welcome. I deliberately changed some styles... * Changed text body font to serif * Deleted unused custom styles in template file * rebuilt the heading style hierarchy where headings inherit from Heading paragraph style * New logo/banner on top of chapter * Page margins inner/outer values to allow binding. * New Tip/Note/Warning icons/background (from Help) * No new style, no style rename * Suggestion for Heading colors based on Module colors * Reworked number & bullet list position settings. Glad to discuss items here or in the Team meeting this Thursday June 4th, 18:00 UTC Kind regards -- Olivier Hallot LibreOffice Documentation Coordinator Comunidade LibreOffice Rio de Janeiro - Brasil - Local Time: UTC-03:00 http://tdf.io/joinus -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: documentation+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy

Fwd: [libreoffice-documentation] Writer 6.4 Guide chapter 3
Jean and Team, I haven't received any feedback on my suggestion for Find & Replace Attributes. I will remove the section unless anyone objects in the next couple of days. Thank you again for reviewing Jean! Kind regards, Toni -- Forwarded message - From: Toni B Date: Fri, May 22, 2020 at 11:05 AM Subject: Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Writer 6.4 Guide chapter 3 To: Jean and Doc Team, Jean - thank you for your review. Your comments were educational and I am thankful you found my mistake in Find & Replace Attributes. I am afraid Find & Replace Attributes has conquered me! :) I can not find a good working example for it. In fact, I can't get the "Find" to work on a lot of the attributes and all of the examples I have tried would work better with Find & Replace Format. If anyone can come up with an example, I would be extremely grateful. If not, I vote we delete this section of the manual. :) Or, we send it to the development team for assistance. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you! Kind regards, Toni On Wed, May 20, 2020 at 10:21 AM Toni B wrote: > Thank you Jean!
