Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Calc Guide 7.1

2021-02-21 Thread Felipe Viggiano
Hey Steve!

Everything is fine! Have been away due to lack of time, but now I believe I
can come back for a while.

I just went through the Calc Guide 7.1 folder and saw that you also
prepared a file with the changes needed for the Guide, that is excellent!
In the readme.md file, there is a reminder to the reviewers to take a look
at this file before starting to work on the chapter!

Keep around, your assistance is much appreciated!

Best regards,
Felipe Viggiano

2021-02-21 Thread Steve Fanning

Hi Felipe,

I hope that you are well.

Regarding a 7.1 Calc Guide, great news that you are starting on it. Let
me know how I can assist you.

I have recently created a folder structure in NextCloud and drafted a
major upgrade to Chapter 13 (Calc as a Database) to remove the macros
and (hopefully) improve the description of the 12 Database functions.
This was discussed at various Documentation Team meetings.

Regards,

Steve

Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Getting Started 7.0 chapters

2021-02-21 Thread Jean Weber
I created a front matter file, which I can turn into a master doc with
needed links. I’m not at the computer to check, but I think it’s in the WiP
folder. I’ll do that tomorrow. (It’s late here.)

I have compiled the full book, but I did not use a master doc. I expect to
put it in the Published folder tomorrow.

Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Documentation Team Meeting Minutes February 18th 2021 at 18:00 UTC.

2021-02-21 Thread Peter Schofield
Hello

I have had a look at the proposal for a new character style and I am inclined
to agree with its inclusion onto the template, but not italic.

I presume the choice of Liberation Mono font is to match the font used on the
LO dialogs. If the answer to this is yes, then the new character style should
also be Liberation Mono regular and not italic. There is enough of a difference
between Liberation Mono and Liberation Sans for the character stye to be
noticed. An italic version looks too much like the Emphasis character style
already in use.

Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Getting Started 7.0 chapters

2021-02-21 Thread Martin Srebotnjak
Hi,

I can see the "cleaned" subfolder in the GS70 published folder - were these
files already manually cleaned up and has the python script been run on
these?

Could someone please also update the LO70 master document to generate the
full guide from individual chapter files?

Thanks,
m.
