[libreoffice-documentation] Discourse instance to test bridges to mailing lists
Hi all, Bridging mailing lists to Discourse is something requested by the community since Nabble is no more working for us. The goal is to be able to post from the mailing lists and from Discourse, it is *not* to replace mailing lists. Guilhem (thanks a lot!) has deployed a test instance that you can find here: https://communitytest.documentfoundation.org/ Note: this is a test instance only, if we go in production, all what has been posted in this test instance will be deleted. The ticket describing how it works: https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/3567 Category1 and Category2 have corresponding mailing lists where you can post from Discourse. Category3 is the only one bridged and is a read-only mirror of the list archives. The intention with the two previous categories is to test different bridging methods. Please help us to test the instance and give your feedback on Discourse site feedback category or in the ticket. [libreoffice-documentation] Controlling PDF content and quality
On page 152 of the*LibreOffice 7.1 Writer Guide*, there is a section entitled *User Interface tab of PDF Options dialog*. In the *Windows options section > Display document title*, it simply states: "The PDF viewer will display the document's title in the title bar." Most people would probably assume that this refers to the title they typed at the top of their document. What it really means is the Title provided after going to *File>Properties...* and going to the *Description* tab. I found this out when I noticed my pdf document showed the name of the template used to create the document displayed in the title bar and in the tab of Adobe Acrobat Reader. It might be useful to state on page 367 of the *LibreOffice 7.1 Writer Guide* that, by default, Adobe Acrobat Reader will display this title in it title bar and on its tab. This same issue is found on page 350 of the *LibreOffice 7.1 Getting Started Guide*. It might also be useful to state of page 33 of the *LibreOffice 7.1 Getting Start Guide* that, by default, Adobe Acrobat Reader will display this title entered on the Description tab. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: documentation+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
