And the winner is... Monday 4th November.
I've copied non-subscribers again.

As it's more complex than slipping a week, and we could be batting
emails around for a while, I've created a ‘Doodle Poll’. Ten days are
presented. Click once on a date to tick it in green for a day you can
make, or twice if you can make that day but would prefer not to. Don't
bother to tell the list when you've filled it in; I'll poll the poll to
observe when it seems to have enough entries.

I've blind-copied those that attend but aren't subscribed to the list,
like Paul.

I personally have no problem with the 12th, but it appears that others might.
I have written to Paul, but haven't received his answer yet. However, he does
seem to have the second Tuesday in the month sewn up, based on previous
postponements.

The thing is; is a Tuesday sacrosanct? Could we simply slip the meeting by a
day rather than a week? At present I could do any evening in the w/c the 4th.
(But maybe Paul wouldn't be able to those either ;-( )

Ooh, I might not be able to make the 12th either, or the 18th or 19th, or
21st. I'm awkward this month, maybe best to schedule without me.

Would any of the regulars prefer it moved? I've looked at

nothing listed there that might clash, though I don't know if it's

Hi,

First Tuesday in November is the 5th. Some of us might be busy burning
parliament. Shall we slip a week to the 12th?

Cheers, Ralph.

Just as well the American government has stopped working otherwise the
NSA would have read this and passed it to GCHQ!
