Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea I wasn't posting this as an exercise

It's nice to be back. For the past few days I have been playing with
Windows 8 Consumer preview. It is not easy, and it seems to me that it
wants to lock you in completely. It has taken me three days to find the
power off technique (aside from the hardware technique). It doesn't want
to share with my XP workgroup, but has another form (proprietary) of
sharing.

I am glad to switch off and disconnect that box and shove it back under
the bed.

TC- Best wishes for your wife's recovery.
