So presumably he meant this Dorset LUG list? :-) It arrived, anyway. https://www.mail-archive.com/dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk/ Other ways to see if email is reaching the outside world include sending to yourcho...@mailinator.com and checking it at https://www.mailinator.com/ where the email will sit for a while and then be deleted. Or send an email to the address shown at https://www.mail-tester.com/ and it will tell you lots of detail about what it thinks of it, so it must have arrived.
