Exactly. There was me racking my brains to work out why the music wouldn't
play, only to find out that there was nothing wrong with what I was doing; it
was the music that was faulty ;-)

Just spent three days trying to get a Fujitsu Scanner and Windows 10 to
talk to each other, failed miserably. Seems like there is some
incompatibility between the USB 3 ports on the PC and the USB 2 port on
the scanner :(

They are showing up as individual email. I have not changed anything on
my setup and it works fine on another list. Not sure if 'stack's is the
correct terminology, but it shows them as indented mails under the
initiating mail.

Is anybody else having this happen to them?

The word you are looking for is 'threads' :-)

I'm using KMail and threading is working fine.

Using Thunderbird here and threading is alright (version 45.4.0)

Hi Peter,

It does this using an email's Message-ID header that's then referenced
in later Reference headers. The emails in this thread had those headers
just fine on arrival here.

 $ scan -width  -forma '%{message-id} %{references}' lp |

 7 1 5 6
 8 1 5 6 7
 9 1 7 8
 10 1 7 8 9
 11 1 9 10
 $

This shows the sixth message, ordered by date, referenced the
Message-IDs of the first, fourth, and fifth that had already been seen.
From that, you can work out it's almost a linear sequence of replies,
apart from at the beginning, where the second has as yet no reply.

It wasn't happening for my emails, but I have discovered a little icon
like two t's one subscripting the other and that puts everything back
into the threads. Obviously I unset it somehow. It was OK on my other
list which was on a different email account. Funny thing that, but all
resolved now.

Cheers all.

Any thoughts on that anyone?
