2004-01-03 Thread Kim Gräsman
Hi Sidney,

Thanks, I just committed the new one.

As a sidenote, do you guys build these files manually with a calendar in
your left hand, or is there an easier way? I'm missing Swedish holidays.

Thanks,
Kim

2004-01-03 Thread John W. Bairen, Jr.
Aah yes. I forgot about that 1.

JB

Aha! Once I understood that events and holidays are
equivalent, I found Fabio Chelly's amazing events file
generator [1], with a good start of Swedish holidays... It
rocks. I'll cross-reference with some calendar/rule base and
build a proper Swedish holiday bank for the coming 100 years or so
 :)

 Thanks,
 Kim

Re: [DQSD-Users] RE: Revised 2004 - holidays.sg.xml

2004-01-03 Thread Monty Scroggins

Thanks, I didn't realize that holidays and events were the same things...

I *think* the event type parameter was intended to be used for some kind
of event partitioning (birthdays versus public holidays etc) but I dont
think it was ever implemented...

Monty

[DQSD-Users] Holiday lists possibility

2004-01-03 Thread Matthew McDougal
Talking to a friend last night, he
led me to two sites for Apple's iCal calendar
program. Seems they have a simple text structure,
which could easily be translated to DQSD format.

Several community sites have appeared where users
can share theirs. One suggested to me was
[1] iCalShare.

Also, Apple has some on their [2] iCal library site,
but they have not been updated for 2004 yet.

[1] a href=http://www.apple.com/ical/library/holidays.html;
http://www.apple.com/ical/library/holidays.html
/a

[2] a href=http://icalshare.com/index.php?topic=holidays;
http://icalshare.com/index.php?topic=holidays
/a

Maybe this will help someone...
