Re: [DQSD-Users] MS KnowledgeBase Search
Glenn, Charlie, The latest tagged and released version is revision 1804, and msk was fixed to comply with site changes in rev. 1813, so maybe the fixes aren't out yet? Charlie, I think you can use the httpinst search to upgrade your msk search from SVN directly, though I don't have DQSD handy so I can't check the details. Re: [DQSD-Users] MS KnowledgeBase Search
Thanks, Kim. I'll try to grab the update. This is, of course ;-), on the 64bit version, since that's all I run. But that doesn't affect the search. Re: [DQSD-Users] MS KnowledgeBase Search
My apologies. I forgot. This particular version of not quite right 64-bit DQSD uses the \Program Files directory for its binaries, but actually reads the searches in \Program Files (x86). Now THAT's a bug I'd like to see fixed in a released 64bit version! Mea Culpa - I was replacing the wrong one! This after a restart. It's still prepending a Q, which is no longer supported. It should be removing the q when it's present. MS has dropped the Q from all new KB articles and is only keeping them in the body of the old ones to provide compatibility for older searches. But they've made it clear that's not anything they'll do for newer ones.
