1 - Using Avant browser - Since version 38 Avant does a
LOCKDOWN key change and does not allow you to switch it off.
If you delete the key it puts itself back in . It's broken my
office start page which uses active desktop. Of course it
effects DQSD because any search launched from DQSD calls
Avant and boom the system locks up.
Is this with one of the DQSD 4.0 RCs, or with 3.1.9.2?
2- installed DQSD RC2 but I can't use my backspace key to
delete entries in the search bar. Pressing backspace has no
effect. I think I mentioned this during the Beta. Is this just me?
If keyboard accelerators stop working, it's usually because DQSD 3.1.9.2 is
still running and has a keyboard hook that gets in the way of the normal
keyboard handling.
If you can, try uninstalling DQSD 4.0, reboot and re-install it from
scratch.
