[Drakelist] T-4XB injection mod

2010-04-02 Thread iz oos
Hello everybody!

I would like to determine the transmitting frequency of my T-4XB using
a signal generator (PLL or DDS).

One possibility I guess to connect the signal generator in place of an
aux crystal through an impedance transfomer.

Another possibility might be to connect the signal generator to the
injection RCVR output. The manual says that the injection cable
provides both the RF and voltage control. Would be dangerous for the
signal generator or the T-4XB to connect the signal geneartor to the
T-4XB? I have two signal generators, one has a 50ohm output at about
7-10dbm and the other has a 100ohm output at about 0-7dbm. What is the
impedance at the side of the T-4XB and how much RF voltage is needed?

73 and happy Easter,

This is all duplicate equipment at my shack and that is the reason I am
selling it. I have used it all on the air in the last couple on months and it
is all functioning correctly. Because of the age of the equipment, I am
selling it as is.

Any questions or inquires should be sent directly to me at _w8...@arrl.net_
