[Drakelist] R4-C 15 METERS DEAD
Would appreciate any help with an R4-C that works just great with the exception of the 15 meter band. can hear the calibrator weak that's about it, no signal from nearby transmitter or any other signals, preselector does not seem to make much difference. [Drakelist] R4-C 15 METERS DEAD ..RESOLVED
Thanks to all who replied to my post this morning having to do with a dead band on 15 mtrs on my R4-C. I found it to be the 32.1 mhz crystal in the 15 mtr slot. Had a junk box 29.010 10 mtr transmit xtal, put that in the slot, and while the dial was off it still got me into the 17 mtr band could copy ssb/cw sigs, no problem, all other rx funtions working ok.
